Adaptogenic chai latte

Chai has been used for centuries as a warming, medicinal ritual and it was only a matter of time before we gave it a Mind Avenue upgrade. This adaptogenic mushroom chai latte combines the classic warmth of cinnamon, ginger and cardamom with our Focus Blend for a drink that is as grounding as it is delicious. A cosy, functional alternative to your morning coffee that your mind will thank you for.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 small pinch ground cloves
  • 1 tsp Mind Avenue Focus Blend
  • 1-2 tsp raw honey or agave (adjust to taste)
  • 1 dl hot water (around 80°C)
  • 2-2.5dl milliliters milk of your choice

How to make it:

  1. Add 1 dl water to a small saucepan along with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and cloves. Bring to a gentle simmer on low-medium heat for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally. Do not let it boil.

  2. Add the Focus Blend and optional sweetener directly to your cup. Pour the hot spice mixture over and whisk well until everything is fully dissolved and combined.

  3. Heat the milk of your choice in a saucepan or using a milk steamer until steaming. Froth if desired using a frother. Pour the warm milk gently over the chai base. Finish with a light dusting of cinnamon on top.
