Gingerbread mushroom latte

There is something about gingerbread spices that instantly makes everything feel warmer. This adaptogenic gingerbread latte takes everything you love about the classic winter flavour and gives it a functional upgrade with our Focus Blend. Ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves simmered together in a way that fills your kitchen with the best possible smell, topped with creamy frothed milk. Cosy, grounding, and good for your mind.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.3 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tsp Mind Avenue Focus Blend
  • 1 tsp raw honey or agave, to taste
  • 1 dl water
  • 2-2.5dl milk of your choice (we use regular milk, or oat milk barista for a plant-based option)

How to do it:

  1. Add the water to a small saucepan along with ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer on low-medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not let it boil.
  2. Add 1 tsp Focus Blend and 1 tsp raw honey or agave to taste directly to your cup or glass. Pour the hot spice mixture over and whisk well until everything is fully dissolved and combined.
  3. Heat 2-2.5 dl milk of your choice in a saucepan or using a milk steamer until steaming. Froth if desired using a frother wand or steam wand.
  4. Pour the warm milk gently over the latte base. Finish with a light dusting of cinnamon on top and serve immediately.
